the north shore of minnesota is so spectacularly beautiful, very reminiscent of my homeland of southeast alaska and it's temperate rainforest. it was such a gift to be able to be there this summer, as my heart pangs to be back in alaska, and who knew lake superior was so similar. our family congregated in minnesota for a couple of weeks this summer and we had a great time cozied up in a beautiful home on the lakeshore, thick in the green, green woods. the fog and the mist was magical and i am so thrilled to share these selected photos with you.
