WHAT IF THE PHOTOGRAPH THAT I WANT ISN'T LISTED IN THE STORE?
As you can see, not all of my photographs are offered as prints to purchase. If you see one on LAYLISAMIMI.COM that isn't listed, I am more than happy to work with you to do whatever I can to get you the print you desire! Please email with the image + size you're wanting, and we can make it happen!
WHAT KIND OF PAPER DO YOU PRINT ON?
The images are digitally printed on Fuji matte paper [C-Prints] or on Giclee fine art paper. They are both archival paper, which will last you 150+ years. The Giclee paper is thicker, has no gloss whatsoever, a very subtle texture and because it's more sturdy than the Fuji matte paper, it presents itself beautifully hung on a wall without a frame.
WHY DO YOU CALL THEM SILK PRINTS, NOT SILK SCARVES?
Offering a limited run of specific photographs as silk prints is super exciting & fun, I really can't express my excitement enough! We urge you to get creative with these prints, and a scarf is only ONE of the many ways to utilize this print. You can hang them on your wall. You can frame them. You can wear them as a scarf. You can wear them as an ascot or a head wrap. You can wear them as a beach wrap. You can wrap special gifts in them. You can use it as a curtain over your window; it'll still let the golden light in, but give the right amount of privacy. The possibilities are endless! I'd love to see how you use yours - email me to share your ideas!
All silk prints are printed on habotai, charmuese or chiffon silks - It will be specified.

DO YOUR PRINTS COME FRAMED OR DO YOU OFFER FRAMING?
Sorry, at this time this is not possible. Check out retail stores like West Elm and Ikea. For larger sizes, it's always nice to have them custom framed or hung creatively in your house without a frame as mentioned below.
HOW CAN I HANG/FRAME MY PRINT?
At home, I hang the posters from binder clips or bulldog clips. You can even get the measurements down exactly and then use a screw to lock the binder clips in place; this makes it super secure and I think its edgy and cool to present it in this way. If you prefer traditional framing, I would suggest retail stores like West Elm or IKEA if you're trying to go on the cheap. Of course custom framing your prints is the most ideal way and if you can manage, you should totally go for it! WholesalePosterFrames.com provide affordable and simple custom frames for art of any size up to 60" on the longest side!
Another good way of hanging large prints is with small magnets. Put four nails into the wall where the corners of your print would be and then put the magnets on the other side, locking it in place. This also looks really neat and magical.

DO YOU OFFER ANY OTHER SIZES THAT AREN'T LISTED IN THE STORE?
The sizes in the store are the ones we currently offer, but if you would like a different size, don't hesitate to contact me and I will do what I can do accommodate your request.
WHY DON'T YOU OFFER THE SAME SIZES FOR EVERY PRINT?
Since I shoot with a variety of cameras [35mm, polaroid, holga, DSLR], not all prints are the same sizes or the same resolutions.
HOW DO YOU FIGURE YOUR SHIPPING PRICES?
I do everything I can do ensure that your print arrives safely and in perfect condition. Because of this, packaging materials, labor and shipping via USPS priority / Fedex Ground all add to the overall cost.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY PRINT?
Due to the small nature of our operation, please allow up to 7 days for your print to be shipped. For international customers, please allow between 2-3 weeks for you to receive your print. US orders are shipped via USPS priority mail or Fedex Ground with tracking. International orders are shipped via USPS first class, with NO tracking. If tracking is a must, then express mail is an option for an additional fee. Please e-mail for more information.
HOW WILL MY PRINT BE PACKAGED?
5x5, 8x8, 11x14 prints are packaged in a clear sleeve with chipboard, in a sturdy, flat cardboard mailer. I've made large efforts to ensure that the larger prints arrive safely and easy to be taken out of the packaging; instead of just rolling it in a shipping tube, it is rolled on the outside of the shipping tube and then packaged securely inside a rectangular box.
WHAT TYPE OF PAYMENT TO YOU ACCEPT?
We offer a really great, easy, secure service called STRIPE for your convenience. All major credit cards are accepted.
WHAT IF MY PRINT ARRIVES DAMAGED?
We do everything we can to get your print safely and securely to you by packaging it very mindfully & professionally. However, sometimes things get damaged in transit. If this is the case, we'll work with you on a case by case basis.
